Who is Magi?

Magi Frost, creator of "Magi's Magick Spells", began her journey as a witch in the year of the metal Dragon. Born and raised in Australia in a family who accepted the "sixth sense" as a normal part of life; her Grandmother, Mother, Aunts and Uncles taught her the ways of Mother Earth. Magi was a good student, with a natural ability to learn and to heal. At the age of 15 she was led to the metaphysical books which awoke her to the knowledge her beliefs actually had a name ~ they were called "Wicca", or "The Craft of The Wise."

She studied in the Alexandrian and Gardnerian traditions, but eventually decided the solitary eclectic path was a more fulfilling way to live with the tenets of her personal Code of Conduct, the most important part of which is the Wiccan Rede, "an it harm none, do as ye will".

Magi and her family moved to Supernatural British Columbia, Canada, in the mid-sixties, establishing the Nicomen Island Metaphysics Centre and Raimar Retreat in the Fraser Valley. There she led firewalking seminars and presented Goddess Festivals and Croning Festivals for many years. Magi has had extensive newspaper coverage and has also been the subject of two television productions featuring firewalking. As a Firewalking Instructor, she empowered other people to do the impossible ~ one of Magi's greatest joys. She has been heard Canada-wide on CBC Radio. If you ask her about her age she will tell you she "is as old as dirt, and as young as tomorrow".

Crone, Wiccan High Priestess, Ordained Wiccan Clergy, Celtic Shaman, Reiki Master/Teacher, Firewalker and Instructor, Astrologer, Numerologist, writer, proof-reader/editor, doll-maker, spell-maker and multiple-media artist, Magi is the first person to obtain a license to practise as a witch in B.C. She has done Reiki Attunements, Healing sessions, Tarot readings, Intuitive Counselling, has taught several "Wicca 101" courses, and has performed Handfasting Ceremonies all over the Province.

A public Wiccan figure and determined activist for Wiccan rights, she served on various Pagan Boards (of Directors) and used her organisational skills to assist Wiccan Societies in their start-up process. A passionate lover of animals, Magi and her husband have had several Rottweiler dogs (their special love) all of which have earned obedience degrees and even Canadian Championships in conformation. Naturally, there was always a cat in the picture, too. After all, what is a witch without her cat?

Magi was known for her psychic medical diagnostic and healing abilities with both people and animals. The animals would tell her about their dis-ease and how she can best assist in facilitating their healing process with Reiki and/or allopathic Veterinary recommendations. Sometimes they simply use her to verbalise their emotional concerns to their owners.

She saw creating the line of "Magi's Magick Spells" as a logical way to assist people attain and fulfill their desires and destinies. People were always coming to her to create spells for them. She believes the 'intent' of the individual and their paticipation is vital to any good spell so she decided to create a line of spells to assist her students and clients. Word got out, her spells were in great demand!

Anyone who has the pleasure of being with her or using her products feels her presence as the gift that it is. She is indeed a "Fairy Godmother." Once you have had Magi touch your life, it is changed in the most wondrous and Magickal of ways.

Magick IS IN THE AIR!

I have had the pleasure of getting to know and love Magi and I have been blessed to find the "Mother-of-my-Heart". Since none of you know her I thought I would take a moment to share my experience of her, with you.

Magi is a positively delightful old crone. She has always treated me, and everyone else, with courtesy and respect.

She has the highest level of integrity of anyone I have ever known. I have never known her to act out of malice or vengeance. Don't get me wrong, she's a straight shooter - she'll be clear and direct, telling you if you're out of line, but she believes everyone is exactly where they need to be, at this time, and she accepts and loves them as they are.

I have been blessed with her friendship and love and I will never be without it as she is, for all intents and purposes, my Mom. She admits when she is wrong and shares her knowledge with you openly. She is a wonderful teacher and mentor. She taught Wicca 101 and her many students can attest to her knowledge and integrity. It is truly a blessing to have her in my life.

• I will not condemn other religions. All people are entitled to worship in their own way ~ they are neither better, nor worse, just different.
• When visiting another Coven, Clan, or Grove, I will respect their traditions.
• I will not reveal another Witch or Coven's secrets. What is theirs to share is not mine to give away.
• I will abide always by The Wiccan Rede ~ "Do as ye will, an it harm none."
